Do you believe love can happen for the second time?
Siddharth resided in Dubai, haunted by his traumatic past. During his healing journey, he vowed never to fall in love again. Then he crossed paths with Alia, a woman from Jordan. Despite his intentions to keep his distance from her and from love, fate had other plans. Siddharth found himself compelled to share his diary with Alia, raising questions about his conflicting desires. What secrets lay within that diary?
My experience:
The plot isn't groundbreaking, though it did manage to surprise me at times and left a lingering impact. Presented in diary format, it effectively immerses the reader into someone else's intimate thoughts. The poetry embedded within is beautiful. However, there was room for further development of the characters. The exploration of the complex emotions of fear and love was well done. Yet, I felt a slight disconnect at times. The book delves into themes of second chances and grappling with emotions like fear and unworthiness. Overall, it's a worthwhile read, especially if you enjoy this genre.
